Rather than paying shareholders, every penny they make is invested back into their mission to return land to nature. The proceeds from their customers mobile bills help create vital habitats and restore British wildlife, making them the only mobile network in the world with this approach.

The website plays an important role in showing how Ecotalk works, how the proceeds are used and how customers can switch with confidence. Clear information and a smooth journey make the mission more accessible.
Ecotalk needed a new website built using Gatsby, based on designs supplied by Green Knight Studios. Gatsby and a headless setup had already been chosen as a more eco friendly solution.
They also needed the site to integrate with a third party SIM billing provider while using Stripe for payments. This required careful coordination across systems to ensure reliable billing and a seamless checkout experience.
A new CMS was essential for managing content and SIM information, especially pricing and deals. Their previous setup did not give them this level of control, so flexibility and ease of use were key requirements.
DatoCMS was integrated to give the team full control over content and SIM details, allowing them to update pricing, deals and messaging quickly and without technical input.
We connected the third party SIM billing provider through Stripe webhooks. This ensured that SIM orders and billing could be automated end to end. Stripe Payments was also implemented on the frontend to support the initial SIM purchase flow and provide a smooth checkout experience.
With these systems working together, Ecotalk gained the flexibility they needed to manage both their mission centred content and the operational side of their mobile service.
The project created a strong digital foundation that reflects Ecotalk’s values and supports their growth.
